TimeBanks USA has produced CareBanks™ – an innovation based on proven TimeBank social technology which provides a dynamic expanded source of assured care that saves money and improves health outcomes for families, communities, municipalities and states. We envision that a CareBank has the potential to transform the healthcare delivery system by providing a mechanism for seniors and families to co-pay for needed back-up and support with regular premiums in time and dollars. This provides incentives to engage families in a partnership with the state to transform the way in which care is provided. Currently TBUSA is providing technical assistance to the Reach Care Bank that is being developed and implemented by the City of Montpelier, Vermont with a grant from the US Administration of Aging.
