"Cape Ann TimeBanker Joy Adams offered to digitize old photos and I took her up on it, sharing with her that we had never been able to find any relatives on my mother's side of the family. Joy had genealogy experience and offered to help. She matched the one photo I had of them, near an old barn, to a historic barn site and comments made by my RELATIVES! I called and they were as thrilled as I to be in touch. They are wonderful people. We've met and now spend time together when we can. Together we've learned lots about our history that explains the secrets and circumstances that caused the split that we have mended. Thank you TimeBank for giving my family back to me! Here I am at a festival with my newfound cousin Jenny." -Lee Lewis @ Cape Ann TimeBank, Massachusetts . #timebankingis #community #50storiesin50days #timebanks #story #timeasmoney #genealogy http://ow.ly/sh3G309skvo
