We offer educational resources, how-to guides, monthly meet and greet, and TimeBank training, and share several choices of software for community exchanges and outreach.
We work with community groups and organizations of all sizes. From community TimeBanks to large multinationals, we help TimeBanks get started, grow their membership, and generate impacts.
We promote community engagement; we encourage, educate, inspire, and spotlight TimeBanks. We are advocates of a 'reflective democracy': one that amplifies the voices of people in their communities.
Over decades of partnering with thousands of TimeBanks across America and the world, we are accomplished at sharing how to engage communities in shaping their future through TimeBanking.
We provide resources, information, case studies, research, audio recordings, toolkits, and more from Dr. Edgar Cahn, and many more from TimeBank leaders.
We provide monthly online learning sessions where we share what we know with members and coordinators, including some open sessions for a broader audience.
We have built an e-learning platform, a 4-week 'Gathering with a Purpose TimeBanking Training' course. This is a highly inclusive process that reaches deep into communities to ensure all voices are represented in determining their community's future.
We are constantly developing new briefings, soft skills training, and a toolkit of methods that are accessible for everyone to study at their own pace.
We connect and share with others. It helps to know you're not alone and that there are people who share your values and believe in a better way of doing things.
On our monthly 'chat on the bench' (#chatonthebench) virtual calls, for example, TimeBank members and those interested in TimeBanking tell us that they value the sense of camaraderie and support they get from being part of the community that shares each other stories. The calls are centered around a relevant topic and provide the opportunity to share experiences and reflect together.
Our goal is to gather a wealth of valuable resources about all aspects of TimeBanking, network with other like-minded change-makers, help shape public and civic agencies in restoring trust, and, together, build stronger and more resilient communities.
